This is a dual-role position requiring the successful candidate to act as a Traffic Marshal on a daily basis, while also being responsible for transporting staff and contractors between a nearby designated car park and the project site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Acting as a Traffic Marshal (Banksman) to manage and control vehicle and pedestrian movements on site
- Ensuring site traffic operations are carried out safely and in line with site procedures
- Driving a minibus to transport staff and contractors from the nearby car park to site each morning
- Returning staff and contractors to the car park at the end of the working day
- Completing additional shuttle runs during the day as required
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when dealing with site personnel
- Adhering to all health & safety and site rules at all times
- Valid Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification
- Valid UK driving licence with entitlement to drive a minibus
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- CSCS Card
- Good communication skills and a safety-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a long-term project
- Ability to work independently and follow site instructions
