Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Store Person to join our busy construction project team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, distribution, and organization of materials and equipment on site.
The Store Person will play a crucial role in ensuring that the construction project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels
- Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and organized manner
- Prepare orders for delivery to various areas of the construction site
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries of required materials
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
- Assist with general housekeeping duties in the storage area
Requirements:
- Hold a valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
- Hold EUSR (Water Hygiene)
- Previous experience working as a Store Person on construction projects
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 references from previous employers
