The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and experienced in managing materials, deliveries, and site stores within a construction environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Receiving and checking site deliveries
- Managing and organising materials within the site stores
- Recording stock levels and reporting shortages
- Issuing tools, PPE, and materials to site operatives
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised storage area
- Coordinating with site management and suppliers
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and securely
- Keeping accurate records of stock movements and deliveries
- Previous experience working as a Storeman on a construction site
- CSCS
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift / Telehandler experience beneficial but not essential
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Long-term position with steady work
