The successful candidate will have strong site experience, a solid understanding of construction operations and the ability to produce and manage technical documentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Working closely with the Site Manager and wider construction team
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other project documentation
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved procedures
- Checking levels, dimensions and quality of completed works
- Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation
- Assisting with technical queries and resolving site issues
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and project management teams
- Monitoring construction activities and ensuring they are completed to the required standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to site teams
- Identifying potential issues and assisting with practical solutions
- Ensuring health, safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout the works
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer within civils and construction
- Strong knowledge of construction operations and site procedures
- Experience producing RAMS, ITPs, RFIs and other technical documentation
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Good setting-out and surveying experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred
