Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a 360 excavator safely and efficiently within a rail environment.
- Carry out excavation, digging, grading and general earthworks.
- Assist with drainage, foundations and other civils works as required.
- Carry out lifting operations where appropriately trained and competent.
- Work safely around existing services and other site activities.
- Complete daily plant checks and report any defects immediately.
- Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and Plant & Vehicle Marshall.
- Work in accordance with RAMS and site-specific procedures.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times.
- Assist with general site duties when required.
- Valid PTS
- Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo – 360 Excavator
- Lifting Operations endorsement preferred where required.
- Previous experience operating a 360 excavator within a rail/civils environment.
- Good understanding of site health & safety.
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
