Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
- Oversee drainage and utility works, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Manage and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, and plant.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Complete site documentation, including permits, daily records, and progress reports.
- Liaise with the client, local authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and maintain productivity.
- Provide a smooth handover with the existing supervisor before taking full responsibility for the role.
- Previous experience as a GW Supervisor within the utilities or water industry.
- Strong drainage experience (essential).
- EUSR Water Hygiene – Modules 1 & 2 (essential).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage site teams and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
