Key Requirements:
- Valid EUSR (Persons) Competent Person certification
- NSI6 and NSI8 qualifications (essential)
- Proven experience as a Competent Person within a civil engineering / utilities environment
- Strong civil engineering background (essential)
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry regulations
- Ability to provide clear on-site leadership and support to teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety procedures on site
- Oversee and enforce correct site management practices
- Support the implementation of safe systems of work (SSOW)
- Liaise effectively with site management to ensure smooth project delivery
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with work activities
