This is an excellent opportunity to work on a busy civil engineering project with a well-established contractor.
The role will predominantly involve kerb laying and operating Dumper and Roller machinery, so relevant plant certification is essential.
Scope of Works
- Kerb laying and edging works
- Installation and alignment of kerbing to specification
- Operating Forward Tipping Dumper
- Operating Roller (Ride-on)
- General groundworks as required
- A valid CSCS Card(Blue Skilled Worker preferred)
- Valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Dumper & Roller certification – Essential
- Street Works Operative training would be beneficial but not essential
- Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in kerbing and groundworks
- Ability to operate plant safely and competently
- Two references from recent, relevant employment
- An up-to-date CV
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Able to work safely and efficiently within a team environment
- Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
