Role Overview
As a Civils Ganger, you will be responsible for supervising a small team on site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification. A strong background in troughing installation is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of operatives on site
- Oversee installation of troughing routes, including excavation, laying, and reinstatement
- Ensure all works are completed in line with project specifications and deadlines
- Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and other trades
- Complete daily reports and assist with planning of works
- Proven experience as a Civils Ganger or Supervisor
- Strong experience in troughing installation (essential)
- Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification (preferred)
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
