The Role
As a Tractor Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor to support the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring materials and equipment are transported efficiently while maintaining high health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor across the construction site.
- Transport materials, equipment, and plant as required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Assist with site logistics and general operational duties.
- Follow site traffic management plans and instructions from the site management team.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all site health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Valid CPCS or NPORS
- Previous experience operating tractors on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- HGV licence is NOT required.
