Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced Plant & Vehicle Marshaller for a long-term infrastructure project in Rossendale, Greater Manchester (BB4).
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors, working on a major highways project.
As the role involves working on the public highway, LANTRA Traffic Management training is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely marshal plant machinery and site vehicles operating on and around the public highway
  • Direct and control vehicle movements to ensure the safety of operatives, pedestrians, and members of the public
  • Maintain safe segregation between plant, vehicles, and pedestrians
  • Communicate effectively with plant operators, delivery drivers, and site management
  • Monitor site access points and traffic management routes
  • Coordinate deliveries and vehicle movements to minimise disruption
  • Carry out visual safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe practices
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with site health & safety procedures and highway regulations
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Valid CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Logo) Plant & Vehicle Marshal qualification
  • LANTRA Traffic Management qualification – Essential
  • Previous experience working as a Plant & Vehicle Marshaller on busy construction or civil engineering projects
  • Experience working on the public highway is highly desirable
  • Good understanding of construction site safety procedures and traffic management
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full PPE
