Role & Responsibilities
- Safely control and coordinate the movement of plant and vehicles around site.
- Marshall excavators, dumpers, delivery vehicles and other mobile plant.
- Guide vehicles and plant into designated working and unloading areas.
- Maintain safe exclusion zones around moving plant and machinery.
- Ensure pedestrian and vehicle routes are kept clear and safely managed.
- Communicate clearly with plant operators, drivers and site management.
- Assist with the safe coordination of deliveries and vehicle movements.
- Carry out visual checks of designated access and working areas.
- Follow RAMS, site rules and rail safety procedures at all times.
- Report hazards, unsafe practices or potential conflicts immediately to the Site Supervisor.
- Assist with general site duties where required.
- Valid Plant & Vehicle Marshall competency/ticket
- Valid CSCS
- Previous experience working as a Plant & Vehicle Marshall
- Previous rail/civils experience preferred
- Good communication and awareness of plant movements
- Strong understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
