Role & Responsibilities:
- Safely guide plant and vehicle movements on site
- Ensure pedestrian and traffic segregation is maintained at all times
- Set up and maintain signing, lighting, and guarding in line with regulations
- Communicate clearly with plant operators and site teams
- Monitor site access/egress points and manage vehicle flow
- Carry out daily safety checks and report hazards or incidents
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and site rules
- Valid CPCS or NPORS qualification
- Mandatory:
- NRSWA – New Roads & Street Works Training (Unit 2 (01) – Signing, Lighting & Guarding for Operatives)
OR - LANTRA (12D) T2
- NRSWA – New Roads & Street Works Training (Unit 2 (01) – Signing, Lighting & Guarding for Operatives)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong awareness of site safety and communication skills
