This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors, working on a major infrastructure project.
We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious candidates with proven experience supervising lifting operations in a high-risk construction environment.
Working Hours
- 12-hour shifts: 07:00 - 19:00
- Shift pattern work required
- Weekend work available
- Blue CPCS A62 Crane/Lifting Operations Supervisor card or NPORS Lift Supervisor(essential)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Lift Supervisor role
- An up-to-date CV
- Two recent work references
- Strong understanding of lifting plans, safe systems of work, and current lifting regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Safety Critical Medical is preferred but not essential
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations on site
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the approved lifting plan
- Liaise with crane operators, slinger/signallers, appointed persons, and site management
- Conduct pre-lift briefings and ensure all personnel understand the lifting operation
- Monitor compliance with site health and safety procedures and lifting regulations
- Report any unsafe conditions or incidents promptly
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity throughout the project
