The Role
You will be working as part of a busy civils/groundworks team, carrying out a range of general groundworks duties while also operating a dumper as required to support site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- General groundworks including excavation, backfilling, and trenching
- Laying drainage, ducting, kerbs, and concrete works
- Operating a dumper safely and efficiently on site
- Assisting with site preparation and finishing works
- Moving materials and supporting machine operators
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with site health & safety procedures
- Working closely with site supervisors and other trades
- Valid CPCS or NPORS
- Proven experience as a groundworker on civils/construction sites
- Good understanding of groundwork operations and site safety
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
