Role & Responsibilities
- Operate a 360° excavator safely and efficiently on a busy construction site.
- Carry out excavation, grading, trenching and backfilling works.
- Assist with drainage, foundations, ducting and general earthworks.
- Perform routine pre-start inspections and basic daily maintenance of plant.
- Work closely with groundworkers and site management to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule.
- Follow site drawings, instructions and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Report any plant defects or safety concerns promptly.
- Valid CPCS Blue Card or NPORS (CSCS Logo) 360 Excavator Operator qualification.
- Previous experience operating 360 excavators on civil engineering or construction projects.
- Good understanding of safe excavation practices and underground services.
- Own PPE.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
