We are looking for reliable, experienced individuals with valid Sentinel competencies for both midweek and weekend shifts.
This opportunity is ideal for those with a strong safety record, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to work across multiple sites.
Candidates must be punctual, professional, and capable of maintaining high operational and safety standards in line with Network Rail protocols.
Roles we are recruiting for include (but are not limited to):
- COSS (Controller of Site Safety)
- SWL (Safe Work Leader)
- MC (Machine Controller)
- CC (Crane Controller)
- Lookout / Site Warden
- IWA (Individual Working Alone)
- ES (Engineering Supervisor)
- Strapping Teams
To be considered for these roles, you must have:
- Valid Sentinel card with relevant Safety Critical competencies
- Recent Drug & Alcohol test certificate (within 3 months) or willingness to complete one
- Experience in a safety critical environment (min. 6–12 months preferred)
- Good knowledge of Network Rail standards and procedures
- Full PPE and ability to travel to sites across Kent
- Strong communication and situational awareness
- Additional competencies such as PICOP, LXA, Points Operator
- Manual Handling / First Aid
- Own transport and full UK driving licence
- Regular weekend and midweek shifts
- Day and night work available
- Locations across Kent including: Ashford, Maidstone, Dartford, Tonbridge, Canterbury, and Gillingham
